Funded by the Knight Foundation for "a series of newly commissioned works by Miami-based LatinX playwrights 40 years of age and under," the idea behind this project is to help revitalize the performing arts in Spanish in Miami, find new voices within playwriting and encourage dialogue on the topic of Miami identity. That's why it is called "As Miamense as Possible."
