The visit of the East and West Coast Teatro Brigade to Cuba in 1981 included doing volunteer work. The photos show the brigadistas on a constrction site in a rural part of havana. One photo depicts Ana Olivarez-Levinson and Hebert Sigüenza of Culture Clash with hardhats standing on scaffolding and scraping the side of a building.
